World-renowned Beatles scholar and former Kingwood High School graduate Dr. Kenneth Womack will visit LSC-Kingwood in April to promote his new book. “Living the Beatles Legend: The Untold Story of Mal Evans,” tells the story of the band’s longtime roadie and personal assistant.

“H20&U” a Magical Merging of Art and Science
If you never considered water to be art, students at Lone Star College-Kingwood are showing that it can, in fact, be an impactful and interactive art form. Currently on display in the Fine Art Gallery, the exhibit, “H2O&U,” is a collaborative project between art and environmental science students.

Dr. Melissa N. Gonzalez is the newly appointed President at Lone Star College-Kingwood. She was formerly the President of Houston Community College-Southeast from 2017-2021. Before HCC, Dr. Gonzalez served in numerous leadership roles at Lone Star College, Dean at LSC-North Harris, Special Assistant to the President, Interim Vice President and Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Economic Development.
