Phi Theta Kappa - Beta Omega Xi Chapter
LSC-Online is proud to be part of Phi Theta Kappa, the prestigious international honors society, dedicated to recognizing and celebrating students’ academic achievements.
Being invited to join our chapter, Beta Omega Xi, is a huge honor. It offers you opportunities to attend conferences, build your professional network within a supportive and diverse community, and provides access to career guidance and job preparation tools. Plus, it increases your chances for scholarships, is a great resume booster, and you’ll get to wear a stole and cords for graduation!
Phi Theta Kappa is an invitation-only organization. If you qualify, you will receive your invitation from LSC-Online.
Qualifying criteria to maintain includes:
- Enrollment in a college with a Phi Theta Kappa chapter.
- Completion of at least 12 hours of coursework toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, or 6 hours towards a certificate of one year.
- Typically, a GPA of 3.5 or higher is required to be invited.
