Mission
The Mission of the Lone Star College Law Enforcement Academy is to provide the highest quality of law enforcement training to its students. Accordingly, we will ensure that any standards established by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and Lone Star College are met or exceeded. We aim to create a safe environment, based on courtesy and professionalism, for our cadets, citizens, and staff. Maintaining these standards will allow Lone Star College to be a model law enforcement training facility for the Southeast Texas region.
The Lone Star College Law Enforcement Basic Peace Officer Academy strives to prepare students to serve the needs of their communities and to uphold and enforce the laws of society in a fair, effective and professional manner. We will deliver this training using subject matter experts to provide our cadets with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully begin a career as a Texas peace officer.
