CyCamp is a special event for new first-year students at LSC-CyFair. CyCamp will be held on Thursday, August 13 at Camp Allen, near Navasota, TX.

By attending CyCamp, you can expect to:

• Meet other new LSC-CyFair students;
• Challenge yourself while having lots of fun through activities such as the Challenge Course (high ropes course);
• Learn about LSC-CyFair traditions;
• Get in some recreation time through canoeing, archery, hiking, volleyball, fishing, etc.;
• Get a free t-shirt;
• HAVE LOTS OF FUN!

To attend CyCamp, you must:

• Be a new LSC-CyFair first-year student (freshman);
• Be registered and paid (or have financial aid pending) for at least 6 credit hours at Lone Star College-CyFair for the Fall 2026 semester;
• Be at least 17 years of age as of August 13, 2026;
• Complete and submit the required student travel paperwork and the Camp Allen release form (see link to forms below);
• Participants who are under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian signatures;
• Ride the bus from LSC-CyFair to Camp Allen, and back;
• Agree to attend this event, or be billed $50 for failure to attend. The college is investing over $150/student for this program. If you sign up then fail to attend, this is money wasted, which is not OK. We want you to have a great experience, but cannot have people backing out. 

Itinerary:

• 7:00-7:45am - Board Buses - Meet at Lone Star College-CyFair, Parking Lot 7 (near the Tennis Courts)
• 7:45am - Buses Depart for Camp Allen
• 8:30am - Buses Arrive at Camp Allen
• 9:00-11:15am - Welcome Rally and Team Building Activities
• 11:15am-12:00pm - Lunch
• 12:00-5:00pm - Break-Out Group Activities
  • Challenge Course/Adventure Summit/Zip Line
  • Archery/Canoeing
  • Free Choice - Park, Fishing, Hiking, Pickleball, Basketball
• 5:00pm - Board Buses
• 5:15pm - Depart from Camp Allen
• 6:00pm - Arrive at Lone Star College-CyFair, Parking Lot 7
