Mexican American Literature

Make history and make news with Mexican American Literature at Lone Star College-North Harris!

 Students who take Introduction to Mexican American Literature can make history and make news! Join Professor Tony Diaz, “El Librotraficante” for Fall 2014, or Professor Christopher Hinojosa for Summer II.

This course instills the critical thinking skills necessary to thrive in a multicultural, multimedia world. The material covered ranges from the classic texts of Mexican American Literature to contemporary writings that are changing the world right now. Expect guest speakers, field trips, and more.

Prerequisites: ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302.
