If you need mental health assistance, the app can help you get connected with the right person or resource.

Why it's important for you to download
In the event of an emergency, the Lone Star College SafeZone app allows you to quickly share your location and details with the local response team who will be able to get the right assistance to you. If working alone, or feeling vulnerable, The app has a Check-in and Check-in Timer feature which allows you to share your live location with security responders.

When using the timer, an alert is automatically sent on your behalf if you fail to extend or cancel it; ideal if you are in areas of increased risk and want additional peace of mind.

The app also lets you report non-urgent concerns straight to the right people and can notify you in the even of an emergency on site.
