The Emissary Corps is comprised of HIE students interested in developing diplomacy skills and taking on leadership roles within GLP.

If you are interested in becoming an Emissary, please view the open roles and their descriptions below.

• Secretary for Recruiting and Marketing: Promotes the Global scholars and the Honors college, arranges campus tabling events, class visits, high school visits, and special events while assisting with marketing best practices.
• Secretary for Co-Curricular Activities and Events: Supports and organizes co-curricular activities, generates ideas for workshops and events, markets programs to student, and assists with logistics.
• Secretary for Scholarships and Travel Opportunities: Raises awareness about external scholarships (Jack Kent Cooke, Gilman, etc.) and promotes study abroad/away and travel opportunities.
• Secretary for Service Learning: Organizes and promotes service-learning opportunities for the wider HIE community.
• Honors and International Education System Liaison: Serves as a liaison between Global Scholars and the Honors College, both on campus and across the system (must be enrolled as a Global Scholar Honors student).
