Esteemed Euphonium Artist Performs Live at Lone Star College-North Harris, Offer Free Master Classes

If you are a musician or know a musician who is interested in improving your chances of advancing in the all-state auditions, Lone Star College-North Harris has the answer. On Saturday, Nov. 11, esteemed euphonium artist, Dr. Gail Robertson, and several talented musicians will be joining together to offer a free master class and clinic to all who register.

The day of music will be capped off with a recital featuring Dr. Robertson and Dr. Kazuo Murakami in the Performing Arts Theater. Dr. Robertson is visiting from the University of Central Arkansas where she serves as an Associate Professor of Music, with a focus on tuba and euphonium. She was a musical supervisor/chief arranger and produced a highly acclaimed CD, Tubas Under the Boardwalk. Dr. Robertson is also the Past President of the International Tuba and Euphonium Association (ITEA).

Musicians are invited to bring their horns and get ready to learn amazing techniques. The event is open to musicians who play flute/piccolo, soprano clarinet, saxophone (alto/tenor/baritone), trumpet, trombone (bass and tenor), euphonium, and tuba.
