Don’t miss the “cat-tastic” celebration of felines, in conjunction with National Adopt-A-Cat Month, with a “Color Me Meow!” theme of fun and educational programs for all ages throughout June at Lone Star College-CyFair’s Library.
Mark the calendar for “Caturday Events” such as the “Cat ‘Purrson’ Party" (games, crafts, photobooth and more) from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. June 7 and the Pet Friendly Plants Gardening 101 workshop 11 a.m. – noon June 14, and the Colorful Cat Café (a “meet and greet” with adoptable kitties through Purr Paws Rescue) 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. June 28.
Throughout the month, there will Passive ‘Pawgrams’ including cat puzzle tables, coloring pages and an art library display; Kiddy Cat Story Times for children ages 0-6 and more Cat ‘Purrson’ Events, such as RPG for ages 10-12 and an art college workshop for ages 12 and up.
