Leadership North Houston (LNH), a premier leadership development program offered by Lone Star College System, is now accepting applications for its 2025–2026 cohort. This 10-month program is designed to equip both emerging and established leaders with the knowledge, tools and networks necessary to lead with greater impact across north Houston.
“Since 1995, more than 840 leaders have graduated from Leadership North Houston, each bringing new vision and vitality back to their communities and organizations,” said Kay Fitzsimons, LSC executive director, Leadership and Economic Development. “This program develops the kind of leaders who elevate both themselves and the region they serve.”
LNH unites professionals from business, government, education and nonprofit sectors for a transformative experience that includes in-depth monthly sessions on topics such as education, innovation, economic development, healthcare and criminal justice. Participants connect with key decision-makers and gain unique insights into the systems that shape the region.
Each session includes leadership development led by Jon Kidwell of Leadwell, a seasoned coach and former executive, who equips participants with practical strategies to lead effectively in complex environments. The program also cultivates strategic partnerships, fosters civic-minded leadership, and strengthens cross-sector collaboration.
Approximately 35 individuals are selected annually through a competitive application process.
Applications are due by June 30, 2025. Take the next step in your leadership journey. Apply now at LoneStar.edu/Leadership-NHouston, call 281.813.6623 or email LED@LoneStar.edu for more information.
