LSC Police Department Offers Active Threat Response Training for Employees and Students

The Lone Star College (LSC) Police Department is offering free Active Threat Response Training sessions throughout October and November across all campuses. These 75-minute classes are open to all LSC employees and students and are led by specially trained LSC Police Officers.

As a nationally accredited law enforcement agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the LSC Police Department upholds the highest standards in public safety and community engagement. This training reflects their commitment to continuous improvement and professional excellence.

The goal of this initiative is to empower the LSC community with practical knowledge and strategies to respond effectively in the event of an active threat, both on campus and beyond.

  • Montgomery Main Campus
  • October 22 | Room G 102 | 1:00 PM
  • October 22 | Room G 102 | 6:00 PM

 

  • Conroe Center
  • November 5 | Room CC 125 | 2:00 PM

 

  • Creekside Center
  • November 12 | Multi-Purpose Room | 1:00 PM

 

Faculty members who wish to bring this training directly into their classrooms are encouraged to contact the department at LSC-Police@lonestar.edu to arrange a session.
