Tammy Edmonds, science lab coordinator and president of the Professional and Support Staff Association at Lone Star College–North Harris, will be honored March 27 as the recipient of the Profile of a Lone Star College Leader Award.

The award, presented at the Lone Star College Employee Awards Ceremony, recognizes one employee each year from across the college system who exemplifies seven leadership competencies through exceptional service, collaboration and innovation.

Edmonds was selected from nominees throughout the Lone Star College system. College officials said the recognition reflects her leadership, dedication to student success and contributions to the LSC–North Harris community.
