Lone Star College and McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston will host a brain health awareness event from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Lone Star College–North Harris, 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive. Healthcare providers will present evidence-based information on strokes, dementia, nutrition and the impact of modern technology and medications on brain health. The event aims to educate the community about preventive care and the latest medical insights while also highlighting Lone Star College’s transformational educational opportunities.
