Lone Star College–North Harris will host its Hurricane Summer Sports Camps, offering basketball and soccer training opportunities for boys and girls ages 6–12 at its campus, 2700 W.W. Thorne Blvd.
The camps are designed to provide a safe, affordable, and engaging environment where young athletes can build skills, gain confidence and enjoy an active summer experience.
The Hurricane Basketball Camp will be held June 22–25, followed by the Hurricane Soccer Camp July 6–9. Both camps run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are open to two age groups: 6–9 and 10–12.
The cost is $75 per player, per sport, and payment must be received prior to the start of camp.
Participants will benefit from structured instruction that emphasizes skill building, individual attention, and real-game situations. Campers will also receive evaluations of their skills to support continued development. Instruction will be led by experienced coaches from local school districts.
Lunch will be provided each day.
Organizers say the camp offers a strong combination of quality instruction and a positive environment for young athletes. Last year’s camp reported 100% satisfaction among participants, with many returning this summer.
