TOMBALL (May 27, 2026) – LSC-Magnolia Center hosted an exclusive Open House for the Magnolia Independent School District to celebrate the work of the ISD and expand the public education institutions’ collaborative efforts to empower students.
“The LSC-Magnolia Center Open House connected our Board, administration, and campus staff with the programs offered,” said Dr. Jason Bullock, MISD Superintendent. “The best part was hearing firsthand from students about the impact dual credit and LSC have had on their educational journeys. We look forward to this continued partnership.”
Bullock and Dr. Lee Ann Nutt, LSC-Tomball President, spoke to attendees about the partnership between MISD and Lone Star College, designed to expand access to postsecondary education, improve student readiness, and strengthen the regional economy.
MISD educators gathered with LSC- Magnolia Center faculty and staff, toured the state-of-the-art 85,000 square foot campus, and discussed the LSC-Magnolia Center programs, including HVAC, EMT, dual credit, and academic and workforce training.
"I could not be more proud of what our teams accomplish together,” said Mark Peacock, LSC- Magnolia Center Executive Director. “Lone Star College and Magnolia ISD are giving students in this community a real jump start on their futures, and that is worth celebrating."
