LSC-Magnolia Center Celebrates First HVAC Occupational Certificate Graduates

LSC-Magnolia Center HVAC Graduates

TOMBALL (August 21, 2026) – Lone Star College-Magnolia Center celebrated its first cohort of students completing the HVAC Occupational Certificate program, preparing them for careers in a high-demand field across the growing region.

For most, this is the first step in their HVAC career pathway. In the fall, they will return to LSC-Magnolia Center to pursue the Residential HVAC Certificate and continue building their technical and hands-on skills.

“As our community grows, so does the demand for a skilled workforce,” said Mark Peacock, LSC-Magnolia Center Executive Director. “The HVAC program gives students a direct pathway to good careers while helping meet the workforce needs of employers throughout our region. That connection between students, careers, and community is central to what we are building at LSC-Magnolia Center.”

Ahmed Gaber, LSC-Magnolia Center HVAC Director, led the development of the LSC-Magnolia Center HVAC program and the students' classroom and hands-on learning experiences.

“I’m incredibly proud of our students and what they have accomplished,” Gaber said. “They have worked hard, developed valuable skills, and taken an important first step toward their HVAC careers. It’s exciting to see our first cohort reach this important milestone.”
