Time to register for fall semester at all Lone Star College locations

It’s time to register for 2009 fall semester classes at Lone Star College System – time to begin your education; time to switch careers; time to finally continue your education where you left off; or time to add a business skill you have always wanted.

Whatever time it is for you, fall classes start on Aug. 24 at all LSCS locations.

“There is still plenty of time to register for the fall semester,” said Dr. Donetta Goodall, vice chancellor, academic affairs and student success. “There’s no better time than now to begin.”

Registration hours through Aug. 14 at the five college campuses are Monday through Thursday each week from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Last fall, LSCS served more than 51,000 students and based on current projections, college officials are expectingto enroll up to 6 percent more students this fall, according to the LSCS office of research and institutional effectiveness.

Online registration is available daily except between the hours of 2 to 3:30 a.m. Students may register or change their schedules at https://myrecords.LoneStar.edu/ until the first day of classes.
