The Sixth Annual Prom Dress Give-Away benefiting teens without the financial means to purchase a dress for prom this spring is set at Lone Star College-CyFair Branch Library, 9191 Barker Cypress, Cypress, TX 77433.

The dresses are free to the recipients and are theirs to keep thanks to community donations.

Dresses will be available for teens in need to try on and take home at no charge from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays March 27, April 10, April 17 and April 24 in the library, room 131 as well as by appointment.

LSC-CyFair also seeks donations for Prom Closet

When your prom night has become a special memory, help make next year’s prom special for teens in need. Donate your dress to replenish the Lone Star College-CyFair Library Prom Closet.

Each year, the Prom Closet provides free prom dresses, shoes, jewelry, new makeup and accessories to teens in need from Cy-Fair Independent School District. In the past five years, the Prom Closet has expanded to also provide for teens from five additional school districts.

Donations are accepted at the library’s Customer Service Desk located on the LSC-CyFair campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
