Lone Star College-Montgomery Faculty Display Artwork at University of Houston-Clear Lake

Experience the stunning, unique artwork of 15 of Lone Star College-Montgomery’s art faculty members, whose pieces are currently on display through Thursday, October 28, at the University of Houston-Clear Lake Art Gallery, located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd., in Houston. A reception honoring the LSC-Montgomery artists is scheduled for Friday, September 17, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in the same location.
 
The exhibition features the artwork of Deborah Ellington, Carlos Landa, Denise Lorenz, and Robby Wood, all professors of art at LSC-Montgomery.
 
In addition, the collection showcases pieces by John Adelman, Michael K. Brown, Andrea Canalito, Jennifer Moorhead, Kelley Eggert, Shelly Murney, Tara Rene Ratliff, Cynthia Reid, Melanie Sinclair, and Valerie Yaklin-Brown, all adjunct art faculty members at LSC-Montgomery.
 
The UH-Clear Lake Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The exhibition can also be viewed online at www.uhcl.edu/art_gallery.
 
This exhibition and the artists-in-residence at the gallery are funded through UH-Clear Lake’s Art Exhibitions, Office of University Advancements, Cultural Arts Program, and the Office of the Dean of Human Sciences and Humanities.
