Weekend Courses at Lone Star College-Montgomery Offer Flexibility for Busy Students

Don’t let a busy schedule keep you from getting your education! Enroll in Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Weekend College, which offers flexible and convenient credit courses on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

This spring, LSC-Montgomery offers a variety of weekend courses in 17 subjects including art, accounting, biology, computer information technology, English, government, history, mathematics, kinesiology, psychology, and more.

“The Weekend College courses, as well as the evening, online, and hybrid courses offered at LSC-Montgomery, allow students to maximize the time they have to work toward their education,” said Dr. Austin A. Lane, president of LSC-Montgomery. “Weekend courses help make the goal of a degree or certificate more attainable.”

Students enrolled in weekend classes still have access to high-quality student services, such as tutoring, library and database access, advising and counseling, and the Wellness Center. In fact, with fewer students on campus, these services—along with parking—will be even more accessible.

Registration for spring 2011 courses is going on now through Saturday, January 15. Tuition and fees for Weekend College are the same as traditional weekday classes, and no additional application form is needed.

In-person registration and advising are available for all students Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
