SecondStart Classes at LSC-Tomball Give Students More Options

View the LSC-Tomball Spring 2011 SecondStart offerings here.

If Jan. 18 was just too soon to start the college semester, register for SecondStart classes at Lone Star College-Tomball and get back in school.

Shorter than the traditional 16-week semester, SecondStart classes give students another chance to take courses that begin later in the semester but end the same time as regular courses in May. The classes keep students from falling a semester behind so they can continue their education track as planned.

SecondStart classes range from a gradual 14-week semester to an accelerated eight-week semester, all depending on the start date. Classes begin as early as February 14 and as late as March 21.

To learn about the SecondStart classes being offered, call 281-351-3310 or stop by the campus and speak with an advisor. LSC-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, at the intersection of State Highway 249 and Zion Road. To register for a SecondStart class, visit LoneStar.edu/Registration or stop by the campus.
