LSC-Tomball Releases 2011 Inkling Magazine

Almost 200 people attended the annual Inkling Release Party & Book Signing on April 27 at Lone Star College-Tomball. At this highly-anticipated event that marked the 21st issue of the Inkling, students, faculty, staff and community members lined up to have their magazines autographed by the student authors, artists and photographers.

The Inkling, which features the original poetry, short fiction, photographs and artwork of LSC-Tomball students, is produced from start to finish by an all-volunteer student staff, led by advisors Dr. Rebecca Tate and Amy Hirsch. Special guests at the event included Lone Star College System (LSCS) Board of Trustees members Linda Good, J.D., and Thomas Forestier, J.D., as well as LSCS Senior Vice Chancellor Dr. Rand Key.

Copies of the new Inkling are available in the Student Center in front of N-103. LSC-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, at the intersection of State Highway 249 & Zion Road.
