Maverick Connection: Sign Up for New Student Orientation!

Learn more about Lone Star College-Montgomery or Lone Star College-Conroe Center during Maverick Connection, a new student orientation program mandatory for all first-time-in-college students.

Maverick Connection helps ease the transition into college and prepare students for academic, social and personal success. Students tour the campus, meet other students, faculty, and staff, and learn about the academic programs offered. They are also introduced to the various campus resources available and meet with counselors and advisors who assist them with the registration process.

Both morning and evening sessions are available at LSC-Montgomery on Wednesday, November 14, and Wednesday, November 28. The morning session is from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. each day, with check-in beginning at 8 a.m. The evening session is from 5-8 p.m. each day, with check-in beginning at 4 p.m. All sessions take place in the General Academic Center (Building G, Room 102).

At LSC-Conroe Center, orientation sessions are offered Thursday, November 15, and Thursday, November 29, from 3-5:30 p.m. in Room 105. Check-in starts at 2 p.m.

Students must pre-register online for Maverick Connection at www.LoneStar.edu/Montgomery-Orientation. A registration confirmation will be emailed within two business days. Walk-ins will only be accepted if the session is not full. Walk-ins must bring a copy of their placement test scores and/or unofficial transcripts to the session.
