Free financial aid workshops are available throughout the fall semester at the Lone Star College-CyFair, LSC-Cypress Center and LSC-Fairbanks Center.
These workshops provide students the opportunity to meet with financial aid professionals who will help them apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for federal and state financial aid programs such as grants, loans and work study. Attendees should bring all 2012 tax information for themselves, spouses and parents (i.e., W2s, tax return, etc.).
Workshops are set from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Oct. 14 and Oct. 21 in room 116 at LSC-Fairbanks Center, located at 14955 Northwest Freeway.
Workshops are set from 10 a.m. – 11:55 a.m. Oct. 22, Nov. 5, Nov. 12, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 in room 108 at LSC-Cypress Center, located at 19710 Clay Road.
Workshops are set from 3 pm. – 5 p.m. Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Nov. 25 and Dec. 9 at LSC-CyFair in room 215 of the Center for Academic and Student Affairs, located at 9191 Barker Cypress.
