Explore Lone Star College-Montgomery During Maverick Mania on April 1

Discover all that Lone Star College-Montgomery offers at Maverick Mania, an open house event on Tuesday, April 1, from 4:30-7 p.m., in the atrium of the Health Science Center (Building B). Those who pre-register for the event online and then attend will be eligible for a prize drawing of free tuition for the fall 2014 semester.

The event, geared for current and prospective students (including high school juniors and seniors and their parents) will showcase LSC-Montgomery’s academic and workforce programs, financial aid and transfer opportunities, admissions and application process, and campus life, including clubs and intramural sports. There will be campus tours, free food for the whole family, pictures with Monty the Maverick, and other great prizes—like a Kindle Fire, an iPad mini, LSC-Montgomery Maverick gear, and more!

“The open house will showcase everything LSC-Montgomery has to offer and provide prospective students an opportunity to start planning their future,” said Dr. Austin A. Lane, president of LSC-Montgomery. “We have top-rated faculty, a plethora of programs, and a beautiful campus, all of which inspire and enable our students to meet their goals and realize their dreams.”

Additionally, representatives from Lone Star College-Conroe Center will be available to answer questions and showcase the programs and services offered in Conroe.

For easy access to Maverick Mania, attendees should enter the campus via West Campus Drive (directly across from College Park High School) and park in the college’s parking garage.
