Commencement is May 8 at The Centrum

LSC-University Park's commencement ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, at The Centrum at Cypress Creek Christian Community Center, 6823 Cypresswood Drive.

Nearly 1,000 people are expected for the ceremony. Linda S. Good, J.D., chair of the Lone Star College Board of Trustees, will deliver the commencement address.

 

LSC-University Park President Shah Ardalan will preside over the event. This year's graduating class reflects a 77 percent increase over the number of graduates in 2013-2014 and the number of students participating in the ceremony has increased 95 percent over last year.
