Registration for spring 2020 semester begins Wednesday, Nov. 13, at LSC-North Harris

The countdown is on! Registration for spring classes at Lone Star College-North Harris opens Wednesday, Nov. 13 at its main campus and the newly opened LSC-East Aldine Center.

Both locations will offer pre-advising beginning Monday, Nov. 4, to help students prepare for the opening of registration. Advisors will be available at LSC-North Harris from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. in the Student Services Building, and at LSC-East Aldine Center from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the main office.

Registration will then kick off at the LSC-North Harris campus with a Registration Rally on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. All student services, such as admissions, advising, and financial aid, will be available, along with fun activities and prizes every hour.

Dean of Student Services Ovi Galvan notes that preparing for the opening of registration is important because classes fill quickly. “Early registration ensures students get the best selection of classes and times, especially for high-demand classes,” he said.

Financial assistance is available to those who qualify, and payment plans are available for all students.

Classes begin for the spring 2020 semester on Monday, Jan. 13.

For students looking to accelerate their studies, LSC-North Harris also offers two Winter Mini-mesters that begin on Monday, Dec. 16. A three-week mini-mester runs through Sunday, Jan. 5, and a four-week mini-mester runs through Sunday, Jan. 12. Registration for these mini-mesters will also open on Nov. 13.
