Christian “Tre” Morales Scholarship awarded to incoming LSC-North Harris student

The Christian “Tre” Morales Foundation honored Kimberly Argueta with a scholarship to help further her education at Lone Star College-North Harris.

The recent Blanson Career and Technical Education High School graduate received the $1,200 scholarship named after former Lone Star College student Christian “Tre” Morales, who passed away in 2019 from a car accident due to a drunk driver.

Argueta was selected as this year’s recipient by foundation members who reviewed the applicants’ submissions, which included personal essays. With the scholarship, Argueta will begin her studies this fall at LSC-North Harris with plans to one day become an anesthesiologist.
