Bachelor’s program advances student’s future at LSC-North Harris

After nearly 30 years of professional experience, Bobbie Taylor is returning to school to earn her bachelor’s degree and further her career opportunities.

Taylor doesn’t have to go far to begin classes as she enters the Energy, Manufacturing, and Trades Management bachelor’s program at LSC-North Harris.

“I was ecstatic when the program opened here at LSC-North Harris, so I don’t have to start over at another school,” Taylor said. “I’ve been working as an electrician since 1994, but this program will help me advance my career and move into management positions.”

LSC-North Harris’ bachelor’s program is helping students like Taylor, who just graduated with her associate degree in Architectural Design Technology, take the next step in her career without worrying about transferring.

The program is the latest opportunity for students to receive a quality education at an affordable cost. Students can begin the two-year bachelor’s program after completing an approved Associate of Applied Science degree.

Fall classes begin Aug. 30, and LSC-North Harris offers students more than 30 programs to choose from, including associate degrees, certifications, and many university transfer courses offered in online, in-person, and hybrid formats.

Students can meet with an academic advisor and register for fall by visiting LSC-North Harris at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, our LSC-East Aldine Center located at 2430 Aldine Mail Route Road in the East Aldine District, or LoneStar.edu/LearnMore.
