Fall is underway and Lone Star College-CyFair’s librarians are focused on keeping the momentum of summer’s fun activities going throughout the year with new virtual and holiday-themed programming.

Leah Stark, LSC-CyFair Children’s Library Specialist and Tween STEAM program host, makes a mask in one of last year’s crafts.“Our library staff has stepped up with innovative and creative ways to keep our families engaged to view story times, do student service-learning projects and participate in book clubs,” said Assistant Library Director of Children’s Services Paula Gonzales. “The dedication and commitment from all our librarians and staff are a reflection on our success to foster the love of reading.”

In collaboration with LSC-CyFair pre-service teachers, there are a variety of STEM videos available for all ages, including Online Escape Rooms and activities on topics such as the human body, recycling, healthy eating, gardens, science in motion, weather and more.
