Lone Star College launches new TV advertising campaign

Lone Star College has released its 2021 fall TV campaign to encourage spring registration. The advertisements were produced by Hierarchy Advertising under the direction of the LSC Marketing and Communications Dept.

“We were looking for advertisements that would resonate with potential students and their families,” said Elisa Olsen, LSC Chief Marketing Officer. “We are very excited about the creative design and look forward to promoting all the benefits that Lone Star College has to offer to the community.”

The two, thirty-second ads are airing on KPRC-TV, KHOU-TV, KTRK-TV, KXLN-TV, KRIV-TV, KTMD-TV, C.N.N., The Weather Channel and Fox News Channel through Effectv (formerly Comcast). The ads began running Nov. 8 and are scheduled to continue through Jan. 24, generating an estimated 19,668,480 impressions.

“We are airing two different creative messages,” said Olsen. “One is directed toward spring enrollment and the second is aimed at community leaders to promote and enhance the Lone Star College reputation.”

In addition to the television ads, LSC has also purchased seven outdoor billboards to create greater brand awareness in its service area.

“People who watch television through streaming services such as YouTube, Hulu and Roku will also see our commercials,” said Olsen. “These digital platforms allow us to target viewers by network, genre and location.”
