Unveiling Of Founders’ Wall Brings Familiar Faces To Campus

On August 22, 2022, Building E on the Lone Star College-Montgomery campus saw an influx of familiar faces as the Founders’ Wall was unveiled to the public.

There is a plethora of people who worked incredibly hard and contributed their blood, syllabi and tears to establishing Lone Star College-Montgomery as the institution it is today. To show appreciation from the people who were under their management and those who have come through its doors as faculty, staff and students, the Founders' Wall displayed in Building E will be a consistent reminder of where LSC-M started and where the college is headed as Mavericks in 2022 and beyond.

A dozen of the individuals immortalized on the Founders’ Wall were present to share breakfast, converse with new generations of Maverick faculty and staff, and pose for a picture to commemorate the occasion. Dr. Rebecca Riley, president spoke a few kind and inspiring words to thank these incredible founders of LSC-M and let them know their contributions will forever be appreciated. Craig Livingston, David Kennedy, Lilly Reynolds, Linda Corbin and of course, Dr. Riley removed the sheets on the exhibit to display the names on the wall for all to see and photograph.

As classes resume, make it a point to visit Building E and its lobby where these names are monumentalized for future Mavericks to show respect and learn the history of our prestigious institution.

Make LSC part of your story.
