Lone Star College Foundation’s work supporting students through scholarships and other financial aid would not be possible without the generous donors who partner with the organization throughout the year.
One of the newest donors is Houston Federal Credit Union (HFCU), which awarded a $15,000 endowment gift to support Lone Star College-University Park students.
“Lone Star College Foundation is grateful for the collaboration of Houston Federal Credit Union,” said Nicole Robinson Gauthier, CFRE, LSCS associate vice chancellor, Foundation Advancement. “This investment will expand educational opportunities for our students by reducing the financial barriers that could otherwise prevent them from achieving their goals.”
With more than 60 years of community investment, HFCU has 11 branches across the Greater Houston region.
“At HFCU, we believe education is one of the most powerful investments we can make in the future of our community,” said Chris Choat, HFCU president and CEO. “Supporting Lone Star College System through this endowment aligns with our commitment to creating opportunities for students to achieve their goals and build brighter futures. We are proud to partner with an institution that is transforming lives every day and look forward to seeing the impact this investment will have for years to come.”
