HOUSTON, TX (Oct. 20, 2026) — Costumes, candy and Halloween fun are coming to Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) as the campus welcomes students, families and neighbors to its inaugural Trunk or Treat celebration Friday, Oct. 30.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the campus’ Energy & Manufacturing Institute, 11521 Compaq Center West Dr, Houston, TX 77070.

“We’re excited to host our first Trunk or Treat at LSC-University Park,” said Gabrielle Freeman, event manager for College Relations at LSC-University Park. “This event is about more than costumes and candy. It’s a chance to bring our community together, create special memories and share a little fall fun.”

Guests can enjoy a colorful lineup of creatively decorated trunks inspired by popular animated movies and television shows, with plenty of sweet treats along the way. The fall fun continues with pumpkin painting, festive photo opportunities and appearances by Leo the Lion and mascots from local businesses and community partners. Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes, bring their treat bags and join the festivities.

Admission is free, with complimentary parking in Garage 9 on Compaq Center Way and Garage 10 on Noble Energy Way.
