LSC-North Harris Library 2012 BuzzFest Ticket Contest

We would like new students and visitors to learn something about the LSC-North Harris Library and we would like them to hear about it from you! Just what are some of the things that a new student or visitor should know about the LSC-Library?

Contest Rules

• Open to currently enrolled students at LSC-North Harris, LSC-Greenspoint Center, or LSC-Victory Center (online students taking classes at any of those locations may also submit a video); students must submit their student ID number along with their full name and telephone number; 
• Video may be up to 2 minutes (120 seconds);
• Video link must be submitted via a link through YouTube, Vimeo or other social media that allows video uploading;
• Video language, imagery, and content must be strictly G-rated (videos not adhering to this will be immediately disqualified from consideration);

About the Video

• Tone of the video shout be fun, lighthearted, futuristic, or zany (be creative!)
• Video should contain an opening shot introducing yourself;
• Video must contain at least one (1) recognizable interior shot of the LSC-North Harris Library;
• Video information may be narrated or presented in text captions as the video plays;
• Video should contain information and insights that would help a new student or visitor learn about all the good stuff at the library (if you are unsure what resources exist ... please ask a librarian);
• Video may contain information you've discovered about using the library and its resources;

Submissions

• Submit a link containing your video to lsc-nh-communications@lonestar.edu no later than 12 p.m. (Noon) on Tuesday, April 17;
• In the Subject line of your e-mail type "Library Video Contest"
• Make sure your e-mail contains your name, student ID, and telephone number along with your entry;

Contest

• One lucky winner will receive two tickets and two viewing deck passes to the April 21, 94.5 FM 2012 BuzzFest 28 at The Woodlands Pavilion.
• Winner will be announced Wednesday, April 18.
• Winner will be photographed and photo may appear on the college's Web site, social media, or other media venues.
• Winner does not have to be present to win, but must appear in-person by Friday at Noon to pick up the tickets. Winner must show student ID to pick up tickets.
