Hello, I am Daniel Sublett, and I'm one of your Veteran Advisors here at Lone Star College-Kingwood. I am an Air Force veteran, and I used my GI Bill to complete my degree. I started my career in the Work Study program in 2017 and developed the passion and skills to help my comrades navigate the world of Higher Education.

I chose to work with veterans and military-connected students because I believe veterans deserve our fair chance in every environment. I know personally the challenges and successes my students will face in college, and I am grateful for the opportunity to show all of you how education can have a positive impact on your life.

My goal as your Advisor is to make your experience smoother by breaking down processes in ways that make sense and by connecting you with the right resources at the right times. I am here to make sure you know you are not alone on this mission. I know you can do this, and I've got your six. Welcome to Lone Star College!
