Hello, I am Daniel Sublett, and I'm one of your Veteran Advisors here at Lone Star College-Kingwood. I am an Air Force veteran, and I used my GI Bill to complete my degree. I started my career in the Work Study program in 2017 and developed the passion and skills to help my comrades navigate the world of Higher Education.
I chose to work with veterans and military-connected students because I believe veterans deserve our fair chance in every environment. I know personally the challenges and successes my students will face in college, and I am grateful for the opportunity to show all of you how education can have a positive impact on your life.
My goal as your Advisor is to make your experience smoother by breaking down processes in ways that make sense and by connecting you with the right resources at the right times. I am here to make sure you know you are not alone on this mission. I know you can do this, and I've got your six. Welcome to Lone Star College!

Hello I'm Sarah Killingsworth and I work as a Veteran Advisor here at Lone Star College. I have been in Veteran Services since 2017. I love what I do because I get to support students as they achieve their goals.
I am continually inspired by the resilience and determination they bring to their academic pursuits. I am especially amazed by those returning to school while balancing the responsibilities of work and family. I can break down processes in a way that makes sense and make sure you never feel like you're navigating college alone. Whatever your goals are, I'm here to help you get there. I'm cheering for you every step of the way!

Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Candace Bradley-Green, your VA Advisor here at Lone Star College- North Harris. A little about me, I was raised in a family surrounded by servicemen, I grew up witnessing the discipline, sacrifice, and quiet strength that define military life. Those early experiences shaped my respect for veterans. They instilled a lifelong commitment to giving back.
I love what I do because I am driven to ensure veterans receive the respect, resources, and opportunities they have earned. My mission is to make your journey smoother, guide, and support student veterans as they navigate their educational and career goals. Whatever your goals are, I'm here to help you get there. Seeing you reach that "I've got this" moment is what keeps me going!
