LSC-Tomball Pharmacy IV Sterile Compounding Certification Course
If you are seeking to fulfill continuing education requirements for sterile compounding, the Lone Star College-Tomball CPE Program will be offering a home study and live workshop continuing education (CE) opportunity for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Choose one session from the options below.
Students will complete two weeks of online course work during the first two weeks in June. Students will then complete the hands-on lab portion on June 16, 18, 23 and 25. Lab times on these dates will be 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendance at all four lab dates/times is mandatory.
Students will complete two weeks of online course work during the first two weeks in July. Students will then complete the hands-on lab portion on July 21, 23, 28 and 30. Lab times on these dates will be 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendance at all four lab dates/times is mandatory.

Report to classroom 316 each of the dates above at 4:30 for a recap and overview. Students will then move to the Pharmacy lab room 323.

The CPE Activity costs $400

Lone Star College-Tomball Pharmacy Technology Department will provide interactive, cost-effective, continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to allow pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain and enhance their professional competencies through instruction in sterile compounding for those who practice in pharmacies that prepare compounded sterile products (CSPs) as required by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. At its core, all CPE activities will be centered on the delivery of patient-centered care efforts.
Attendees will receive four (4.0) hours of continuing education (CE)
