Amy Roberson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has enjoyed working with students at Lone Star College – Montgomery since 2002.  She enjoys helping students discover the next step in reaching their future goals and continuing their education, both in and out of the classroom.  Her experiences have included working with health care students and others who are having difficulty with academic success strategies, stress management, performance anxiety, test anxiety, and personal life concerns.  She enjoys helping students with career-related goals, decision making, and skill development.  Amy also provides leadership to the Maverick Care Center, where staff and volunteers serve students giving them access to food, clothing, and other needed items.  In recent years, Amy has developed a passion to help others recognize the power of nature in their wellness and stress management efforts.  In her spare time, Amy enjoys traveling to the Rocky Mountains as well as Texas State Parks, time at home with family, photography, and birding.
