Many companies are continuing their commitment to not terminate service to any residential or small business customers because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic; waive any late fees that any residential or small business customers incur because of their economic circumstances related to the coronavirus pandemic; open its Wi-Fi hotspots to any American who needs them.

May 7, 2020 Update - AT&T Extends Customer Relief During COVID-19
Through June 30, AT&T is committed to providing all residential and commercial postpaid wireless, home phone, or broadband customers up to 90 days from their initial past due date to pay their past due balance. In other words, customers who notify AT&T of economic hardship due to COVID-19 have 90 days from their initial past due date or until June 30, whichever comes first, to pay their past due balance.
If you receive a suspension notice or know that your bill is past due, please let AT&T know as soon as possible and then set up a payment arrangement.
AT&T is also waiving late payment fees and overage charges for customers who notify them that they are impacted by COVID-19. They have extended this offer from the original end date of May 13 through June 30. In addition, they have extended the following relief efforts:
Unlimited AT&T Home Internet: All AT&T consumer home internet customers, as well as Fixed Wireless Internet, can use unlimited internet data through June 30.
Access from AT&T: AT&T will continue to offer internet access for qualifying limited income households at $10 a month through our Access from AT&T program. They have expanded eligibility to the program to households participating in the National School Lunch Program and Head Start, and they are currently offering new Access from AT&T customers two months of free service through May 24.
More mobile hotspot data: AT&T is automatically increasing mobile hotspot data by 15GB a month for each line on an unlimited plan that currently includes a monthly tethering allotment through June 30. That means if you are on AT&T Unlimited Elite you will automatically get 45GB a month of tethering per line.
Connecting Service Men and Women: AT&T is helping keep our military and their families connected during this difficult time. They have worked out an agreement with the Navy Exchange Command that allows military personnel stationed on selected Navy ships to make calls to their loved ones through June 30 at no cost to the Navy or its sailors. Additionally, to assist military personnel in Guam they are waiving Guam-based international roaming charges for AT&T Mobility accounts through May 31 and retroactively to April 1.
Internet Essentials Free to New Customers: Through June 30, eligible new customers can sign up to receive 60 days of complimentary Internet Essentials service, which is the nationís largest, most comprehensive internet adoption program for low-income households. We work in partnership with tens of thousands of school districts, libraries, municipalities, and nonprofit community partners to help bridge the digital divide and support digital literacy. We recently expanded Internet Essentials eligibility to include all low-income families, including seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities.
Speed Boost for All Internet Essentials Customers: Xfinity has permanently increased speeds for all of our new and existing Internet Essentials customers across the country.
Support For University Students: Xfinity is now offering eligible university students who live in our service areas and need internet service a Visa prepaid card worth about two months of internet service. No upfront fees, no installation costs.
Free Xfinity WiFi For Everyone: Through June 30, Xfinity WiFi hotspots located in businesses and outdoor locations across the country are available to anyone who needs them for free Ė including non-Xfinity internet subscribers.
Unlimited Data: While the vast majority of Xfinity customers do not come close to using 1TB of data in a month, Comcast is pausing its data plans through June 30 giving all customers unlimited data for no additional charge.
No Disconnects or Late Fees for Xfinity Internet, Mobile, or Voice Customers: Comcast will not disconnect a customerís Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Mobile, or Xfinity Voice service, and Comcast will waive late fees if they contact them and let them know that they canít pay their bills through June 30.

May 7, 2020 Update:
Keeping customers connected continues to be one of our highest priorities during the pandemic and we remain committed to ensuring all current T-Mobile customers on plans that currently have data are provided with the connectivity they need to learn and work.
The vast majority of customers on T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile plans continue to have unlimited talk, text and data, and our T-Mobile Home Internet customers already have unlimited plans with no data caps or surcharges.
In addition to extending our commitment to the FCC pledge through June 30, we have several temporary measures to further support our customers, including those on plans without unlimited data:
Providing unlimited high-speed smartphone data to current customers who have legacy plans without unlimited high-speed data (excluding roaming) through June 30, 2020;
Giving T-Mobile postpaid and Metro by T-Mobile customers on smartphone plans with mobile hotspot data the ability to add 10GB of Smartphone Mobile HotSpot each month for the next two months (20GB total) through June 30, 2020 (excluding T-Mobile Connect);
Working with our Lifeline partners to provide customers up to 5GB per month of extra free data through June 30, 2020;
Increasing the data allowance, at no extra charge, to schools and students using our EmpowerED digital learning program to ensure each participant has access to at least 20GB of data per month through June 30, 2020; and
Providing free international calling to landlines (and in many cases mobile numbers) to countries that were significantly impacted by COVID-19 through May 13, 2020.
Altice USA recognizes the important role we play in providing our Optimum and Suddenlink customers with connectivity solutions, and we are committed to helping schools and students stay connected during this unprecedented time. For households with K-12 and/or college students who may be displaced due to school closures and who do not currently have home internet access, we have extended our free Altice Advantage Internet service until the end of the 2019 - 2020 school year Ė only pay the already discounted installation fee. You can cancel the service at any time. Otherwise, youíll keep it for $14.99/mo. after June 30, 2020.
Verizon is extending its commitment to keep our customers connected through June 30.
This means we will neither terminate service nor charge late fees to our postpaid wireless, residential, and small business customers that notify us of their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Click here for the latest news release.

On April 22, we announced we are automatically adding an additional 15GB of 4G LTE data to consumer and small business* shared data plans, hotspots and jetpacks to be used from May 1 through May 31. There is no action needed as this data will automatically be added to consumer and small business accounts.
