Students that have completed workplace/technical training and national examinations evaluated by ACE must pursue Prior Learning Assessment to request credit. ACE evaluated training is verifiable through the National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training.  
Students are required to submit an official ACE transcript and completed PLA Student Application to request LSC course credit. 

Although evaluated by ACE, the credit assessment of CLEP scores is done through the PLA by External Challenge Exam option. Visit the PLA by External Challenge Exam webpage for a list of accepted CLEP exams and minimum passing scores.

Lone Star College has appoved LSC course credit for the below ACE recommended training programs. 
If you do not see your program listed, please consult a PLA advisor for options. Students may submit a PLA Application for any ACE-recommended training/education to be evaluated by faculty.
