THECB Texas Reskilling Support Fund Grant & THECB Texas Reskilling & Upskilling Education (TRUE) Grant
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Reskilling Grant cycle is finalizing summer applicants. Lone Star College is processing all grant awards.
Lone Star College was awarded two grants to support workforce training at Lone Star College The first grant awarded $750,000 and the second at $200,000. These funds are to assist students who stopped attending classes at Lone Star College or Texas Community College due to COVID19 related issues (REQUIRED SURVEY) and who would like to return and finish a workforce certificate or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
Students who qualify may receive$500-$2,500 per semester per participant to cover some tuition and cost of attendance. (View the eligibility requirements below)
Eligibility requirements for THECB Reskilling Grant:
Full-time or part-time students for 2022.
Must be a resident of Texas and eligible for in-state tuition as determined by the institution
Must enroll in a Lone Star College credentialed program/degree/certificate at Lone Star College.
