2024 SSI Summer Bridge STEM Program: Apply Today – Limited Seats Available!
The SSI Summer Bridge STEM Program mission is to help first time in college (FTIC) students in their academic, social, and personal transition to Lone Star College. The program will specifically support students interested in pursuing a career in STEM. Through participation in the Summer Bridge Program, students will work collaboratively with peers, staff, and faculty across campus departments to foster a community of learning.

Program Dates and Times
- Summer II Session: July 11 – August 18
- Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Monday – Thursday)
- Application Deadline: July 8, 2024

- Free TSI Test Preparation
Eligibility of Summer Participants
- Must be a class of 2024 high school graduate
- Enroll in First Year Experience Course (EDUC 1300) for Summer II Session
- Registered to attend LSC-University Park in the fall
- Enrolled in STEM academic program

- Apply to Lone Star College-University Park
- Complete the SSI Summer Bridge Program Application
- Complete the Pre-Assessment Activity
- Complete the Placement Testing or meet one of the other placement requirements listed in the “How to Qualify” Section
- Satisfy Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirement
- Submit a Credit Registration Form to Regina.Oliver@lonestar.edu
