The Office of College Relations invites all Lone Star College-CyFair, including LSC-Cypress Center and LSC-Westway Park Technology Center students to participate in a T-shirt Design Contest for our iBelong vision. LSC-CyFair honors our origins and embraces our future with the iBelong campus vision to create an inclusive environment for our diverse students and colleagues to thrive. Simply put, we want everyone – students, employees, and community members – to know they belong at LSC-CyFair. Our promise to you is to create a community built on equity and respect for all, that values what makes you unique, and supports you in getting where you want to go. You belong here.
Three designs will be selected by a panel of judges, then students and employees will vote on their favorite via the college’s Instagram. The winner will receive a $500 credit to their student account, with second- and third-place winners receiving a $100 credit to their student accounts. The winning design will be printed on t-shirts to be given away to students and employees at a future college event.
Design Requirements
- Make it cool, simple and awesome!
- It should have broad appeal and represent the iBelong initiative.
- Design is limited to 3 colors.
- Please, no inappropriate language or imagery.
- No stock illustrations, this must be your original design.
Designs should be submitted electronically via email. Send us your original design files labeled with your first and last name. Preferred file types are: Illustrator, EPS and PDF. Type must be converted to outlines. Submit with your design layers intact. Hard copies of hand-drawn art are also acceptable.
Submission Deadline
Submit your design via email to michelle.l.tran@lonestar.edu by noon Friday, December 19. Turn hand-drawn art in at the Office of College Relations, CENT 155. You must also fill in and submit a Contest Release form granting us the rights to use your artwork for creating t-shirts and other purposes.
Voting
Voting on the college’s Instagram account will take place from January 16-20. The winner will be announced Monday, January 23.
