The LSC-Kingwood Women’s Soccer Club team allows current students to participate in a team sport, develop social skills, engage and demonstrate sportsmanship both on and off the court, have fun, be physically active, and play inter-league games against other clubs and colleges.
Qualifications and Restrictions
In order to participate on the Soccer Team, all students must:
- Be currently enrolled at LSC-Kingwood
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, and be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
- Cannot be on Academic Probation
- Be able to attend all practices. Students should arrange their class schedule around these times
- Must bring Student ID to all home/away games
- All participants must sign a waiver to play

Restrictions include:
- Being on academic probation during any contest. Click here to view our probation and suspension guidelines.
- Currently playing on a varsity team in a related activity or have done so within the same academic year.
- Faculty, staff, or alumni.
- Having prior professional experience in a related activity.
Participant Responsibilities
- Sport club members participate at their own risk. Personal medical insurance coverage is highly recommended. The College is not liable for injuries sustained during competition or practice.
- Club members are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of participating in the sport club programs. Participants must choose activities appropriate for their skill level and adhere to program safety guidelines.
- Inappropriate language and behavior are not permitted while participating in sports clubs' programs.
- The use or possession of illegal drugs or alcohol is prohibited during campus recreation programs, at any sporting event or competition, and on College premises. Failure to comply with program policies shall result in disciplinary action in accordance with College policies.
Safety Procedures
- Participants' safety is of the utmost importance. There are inherent risks involved in all recreational/ competitive programs. The participants in sport club programs should be aware that involvement is totally voluntary.
- All participants playing on a sports club team are assumed to be in good health.
- Alcohol or illegal drugs should not be consumed in vehicles traveling to or from a contest. Alcohol or illegal drugs are not allowed on any College facility or other facility used for sports club competition or practice. Infractions of this nature will not be tolerated, and it is the responsibility of the club to enforce these procedures.
- Each Sport Club must file an incident report for any accident occurring during practice or competition. Forms must be turned to the Recreational Sports Director/Manager no later than 24 hours after the accident/injury. If an accident or injury occurs, first seek medical attention as necessary, then contact the Recreational Sports Director/Manager. Follow up with the accident report as soon as possible. Remember, the first priority in any emergency is to ensure that all persons are safe and to call for assistance as needed.

Practice/Games are Mandatory
Fall/Spring: Tuesday & Thursday: 4-6:00 pm
Games
The Lone Star Sport Club Conference holds a Fall/Spring soccer league each year that involves many of the local Colleges and Universities in the Houston area.
Games are usually on Saturdays at 12pm; 1 Sunday game.
