The massage therapy program is located at our Chi Lone Star College-North Harris School of Cosmetology, 910 E. Richey Rd, Houston, TX 77073. This state of the art facility provides an excellent educational environment and experience for our students.

The program offers both full-time (daytime) and part-time (evening) programs in a fast-track format that can be completed in as little as nine months. Students learn the practice of using touch to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. Massage therapy is performed for a variety of reasons, including pain treatment, decompressing tired and overworked muscles, reducing stress, rehabilitating sports injuries, and promoting general health. The program prepares students for the Massage Therapy Licensing Exam. The program is designed with all-inclusive tuition that includes 23 college credits, books, supplies, and uniforms. Students are eligible for financial aid.

The LSC-North Harris massage therapy program is committed to exceeding the standards and essentials set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and is a National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work Assigned School #490597.

We have a Full-Time cohort that starts each Fall semester. 

There are a few steps to get enrolled into our program, all of which can be done online.  In order for your application to be considered for the acceptance into our program, please complete the following steps:

1. Complete the Lone Star College System application for enrollment as a credit student or ensure your enrollment stat us is current;
2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA).  Financial Aid may be available to those who qualify and need assistance funding meningitis vaccination costs.;
3. Complete the program application;
4. Attend an Open House (optional)

All Open Houses, unless otherwise noted, are held from 5 - 7 p.m. at the CHI LSC-North Harris School of Cosmetology, located at 910 Richey Road, Houston, TX 77073.
