Lone Star College System is proud to announce that students Jacquelyn Galvan, Jada-Kai Johnson, Yoseline Mendoza and Jonathan Rodriguez earned the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke (JKC) Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. They will receive up to $55,000 each year for up to three years to complete a four-year degree.
“Having four students earn the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke scholarship once again proves that Lone Star College System offers top-notch educational programs, faculty and staff, resources and support, making the college system one of the top leaders in higher education,” said Katharine Caruso, Ph.D., LSC associate vice chancellor, The Honors College and International Education.
This is the first year that LSCS had four JKC scholarship finalists and the largest number of semifinalists (19) for any community college in Texas. To celebrate that incredible achievement, Lone Star College Foundation recently held a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Recognition Celebration.
