LSC-Montgomery Presents Instrumental Pops Concert: “Music From the Movies”

Lone Star College-Montgomery's music department presents “Music From the Movies,” an instrumental concert featuring the symphonic band and jazz ensemble. The concert is Tuesday, October 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the performing arts theater (Building D). The evening will be filled with the sounds from fun Hollywood musical favorites.
 
“This concert will showcase a wide array of music from the silver screen including themes from Pirates of the Caribbean, Mask of Zorro, Lion King, Indian Jones and the Pink Panther to name a few,” said Kris Chapman, associate professor of instrumental music. “Moviegoers of all ages will enjoy this exciting performance. I would especially encourage families to attend this concert.”
