Auditions Set for Lend Me A Tenor at Lone Star College-Montgomery

Lone Star College-Montgomery theatre department will hold auditions for Lend Me a Tenor, by Ken Ludwig on Tuesday, March 8, at 4 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center (Building D).

Auditions will consist of a cold read. Men and women of all types are needed and auditions are open to the community. All who are selected for cast and crew must enroll in Theatre Practicum: DRAM 2121.

This comedy, by Ken Ludwig, takes place on a night in September 1934 when the world famous tenor, Tito Morelli, is set to perform at the opera gala season opener. Through a hilarious series of mishaps, the farce spins out of control both on and off stage.

This comedy performance will run for one weekend only — Thursday through Saturday, April 28-30, with shows starting at 7:30 p.m. A single matinee performance will take place on Saturday, April 30, at 2 p.m.

Individual tickets for performances are $10 for general admission, $7 for seniors, and $5 for student, staff, or faculty. Buy your tickets today online at http://www.mycommunityevents.com/. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting Denise Meyers, program coordinator for theatre/fine arts, at 936.273.7021 or denise.k.meyers@LoneStar.edu.
