Lone Star College-Montgomery Hosts Final Instrumental Concert of the Season

Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Symphonic Band, Jazz Combo, and Jazz Ensemble unite for the final instrumental concert of the season on Monday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m., in the Recital Hall, located in the college’s Music Hall (Building H). Please note that this is a new concert date.

The bands welcome guest soloist Dr. Scott Plugge, professor of saxophone and associate director of the school of music at Sam Houston State University. Having performed with the Texas Saxophone Quartet, the Dallas Wind Symphony, and the U.S. Marine Band in Washington, D.C., Dr. Plugge’s performance is sure to astound the audience.

Tickets are $10 for general admission; $5 for students; or $25 for general admission and donation that includes a CD of the LSC-Montgomery music department.
