Music Department to Present Sweeney Todd

The Lone Star College-Tomball Music Department will present the contemporary classic “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” for three performances in the Performing Arts Center, April 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m., and April 29 at 2:30 p.m. 

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, this Tony Award winning musical tells the story of Benjamin Barker, alias Sweeney Todd. A victim of injustice, Barker decides to take revenge by murdering his unassuming customers and then having them backed into pies.

Tickets for the show can be purchased in advance at the LSC-Tomball bursar’s office or by calling 281.357.3754. Tickets will also be available at the box office prior to each performance. Admission is $15 for the general public, $12 for senior citizens and Lone Star College System employees, and $5 for students with a valid ID.
